Designed for Mason Dining GMU. This project focuses on creating a strong visual connection between George Mason University and its surrounding context in Washington, D.C. The direction centers on unifying recognizable campus landmarks with iconic DC elements, forming a continuous illustrated landscape that reflects both place and identity.
The design uses a clean, linear illustration style to maintain clarity at a small scale while allowing the mug to function as both a practical object and a storytelling surface. This approach was chosen to reinforce a sense of belonging and shared environment for students, linking campus life to the broader cultural and geographic context.
The mug was produced in two color variations, ensuring versatility while maintaining consistency with Mason Dining’s brand and overall campus aesthetic.
